    hi guys

    how much would i be expecting to pay at a none dealership garage for a cambelt replacement?

    its a 1.8t sport? 190bhp on a 53 plate?

    Think they're about £350 - £400 at a main dealer, or about £250 - £300 otherwise. Getting mine done tomorrow at an independent (mate). Paying £200 for both belts and water pump. Genuine parts :-) Mate's Rates.

    Paid £275 inc for mine at Stafford Audi main dealer. See http://www.audicambelt.co.uk/ for more details. Water pump was another 30 quid if I recall.

    Had belts and w/pump done. Car seems to perform better! Wonder if old one had slipped a notch??

    LOL!! Not copmplaining though It starts and runs fine and fuel consumption is the same
