My Sharan did not come with a load cover but I'd now like to add one. The plastic holes that fit to the sides of the boot seem to be available as do load covers themselves (thank you ebay!).
However....I'm not sure that the holes will fit to the driver's side in teh boot as we have a large cubby hole with a lid. I've not seen any other Sharans to check if this lid is in the way of where the plastic hole needs to go to hold the load cover itself.
Anyone out there have a Sharan of the same vintage with lidded cubby hole AND load cover? Any other gotchas I should be wary of?

    Cheers
    Dave

My old alhambra had one of those covers and the and the lidded cubby hole won't be in your way as the holders go infront of it, almost touching the middle row of seats.

I've a friend who retro-fitted a load cover to his Sharan, he said the hardest part of the job was cutting the holes for the plastic inserts - it's only hardboard but very expensive if you mess it up.
