    Hi,
I just thought I would share a couple of pic’s of my Golf with added GT badge. God knows why VW didn’t fit this as standards but in my eyes it looks ten times better than the standard grille and sets the car apart from the SE and S models.
The badge was fitted with no modification to the existing grille, just fitted using a ‘L’ shaped bracket (bent slightly over 90degrees), secured towards the rear of the grille with high grade 3M VHB tape.

Is that a cut down GTD or GTI grille badge or is it the one from the rear?

I used the GTD grille badge and removed the 'D' with a Stanley knife. Easier than i though to be honest. The badge was only £11 from VW.

Because it's not really a GT?
