    Hello, everyone.

I know some of you are interested in the new Mk6 Match alloys.
I took delivery of my Match yesterday and I attach a photo of the alloys (I think they call them 'Crofts').

I prefer the look of the SE alloys over these ones. Oh well.

    Regards,
    Darren

Yes, I much prefer the Atlanta wheels as they are much smarter and easier to clean and the inlay of grey masks some of the resident brake dust!

    Hi Darren,

    Nice!
Which engine did you go for, how long did it take for delivery?

    Hi.

    I went for the 2.0 TDI (140PS).

The car was ordered as an 'SE' on 26th April. It landed in Grimsby as a 'Match' on Thursday 17th June. The dealer received it on Friday 18th June. I collected it on Wednesday 23rd June. So we are talking 2 months. When I ordered it, an expected delivery date was 22 July. So very pleased with the time taken especially when there are folks still waiting for theirs after many many months (although of course with different specs and models).

    Regards,
    Darren

I like them too - but it's a bit of a double edged sword - they don't look too manky when they're overdue a clean, but equally don't really sparkle when clean because of the grey bits

I've gone off the painted aluminium wheel look, to be honest with you - they look s bit Passé to my mind.
The fact that they (ordinary 'alloys') are then spay coated with a clearcoat is the only reason they look passable. I now prefer that very shiny finish the Atlantas have on part of the wheels - the 'spokes', if you like.
