    hey guys,

I seem to have a problem with my temp gage on a3, 1.6, 99. When i start the car in the mornings, the temp gage constantly flickers (in other words unstable, not idle) from '0' to about '60'. But once the engine is warm the temp gage is stable and everything is fine..............ii have tried anything yet because i am not sure. HAS ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS WHAT IT COULD BE?? it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Nigel

Hi --I had an unstable temp. gauge problem on my A3 and the garage replaced the temperature coolant sender-might be worth a look.
