fitting bently wheels

Hi there, im new to this forum, just wondered if anyone knew any reason why 20"x 11" bently wheels wouldnt go on my passat, Although i wasnt looking to go that big, a set of 'chrome' ones have came up cheap from a mate, so im looking to murder them out, by a powdercoating friend of mine, and slam my passat, just wondered if anyone else has had problems with suspension/arms etc, because of them being 11" wide? Any help would be appreciated, and after the trial fit, il post up some pics

19 x 10 et 30 will fit and look very nice with the right drop

11" wide depends on the ET - any ideas?

hi there, yeah ive seen a set of 19's on a passat, and they looked good, prefrably i was going 18's with a monty slam.Iim going to look at them tonight, my mate sent me a pic, but hasnt a clue about wheels so cant get the offset or even the width out of him, he just said they was on 265 20's so i though worst ways theyre 11's, bit of luck, theyre 10's/9.5's, was just a bit worried that the fronts may cause havoc with the suspension/the body on the turning circle, or go through wheel bearings etc., Cheers for the feedback,
