You could put the code read result on here and see if anyone recognises something.
Dealers can usually lose the cost of their scan if they are doing the repair work. Many faults with these lights can only be fixed by a new light unit.

Reason I asked if they would accept my Ross Tech report because Im in dispute with the dealer I purchased the car from and need evidence of how much the work will cost. So I really dont wanna pay the £80 for thier machine to tell me the same results just in case the dealer starts playing hard ball and refuses to pay out.

In that case I would go to another dealer and ask to have a word with a master tech. Show him the Vag-com print out and see what he thinks.

I have done a more detailed test on the headlights using Vag Com. Results below....

Test 1: control circuit for curve lighting warning light

Test 2: Dynamic cornering light - position left

Test 3: Dynamic cornering light - position right

Test 4: Headlight cornering light - adjusting to center position

Test 5: Headlight range control - adjusting to delivery position

Test 6: Headlight range control - adjusting to lowered position

Test 7: Headlight range control - adjusting to raised position

Test 8: Static cornering light left - down/dim

Test 9: Static cornering light left - up/bright

Test 10: Static cornering light right - down/dim

Test 11: Static cornering light right - up/bright

Please can anybody shed any light on these results, and what do they mean? i.e why is there 4 Loads and what do the percentages mean.

    Many thx

I think you will have to ask ross-tech if they know exactly what the load figures are and what they mean. My best guess is they are loads for the four motors. Reading left to right.
Left up/down. Right up/down. Left swivel. Right swivel. I also assume the figures are telling you that all the motors are ok. The problem seems to be the fault code which said left swivel position sensor. These lights can,t be repaired but it might be worth taking off the left headlight and having a good look. The diagnostics can't tell the difference between a faulty sensor and a damaged wire sometimes. I think a dealer would just change the left headlight and see what happens. Not funny at £500 each
