i've had my 2001 S6 plugged into audi/vw diagnostic computer as engine management light is on, came back with bank 1 and bank 2 running lean

was told lamdas seem to be working fine, and that valve for carbon canister fuel vapour sometimes sticks open on audis

any idea where i can find this valve?

If the fuel vapour canister valve is sticking open it would be running rich. I suggest you look for an air leak.

i've replaced over 3 metres of vacuum hose with silicone vacuum hose! still running lean, any other ideas?
was told that lamdas are working fine, could airflow be causing this?

So is your engine code a secret or what.
Here is the clue "16825- EVAP emission control sys; incorrect flow p0441-35-00"

The solenoid has failed open and is allowing air in all the time after the MAF so she is running lean once the fumes have been sucked out. Can you hear it clicking at idle soon after a start up in the mornings, I suspect not.

    Regards Peter
