ABS + ESP icons....again.

Recently had both the abs and esp icons light up. Checked out the forum and found Paul46's entry on the subject. (25.04.2007). Booked car into local garage and they found, as with Paul, the brakelight switch was at fault and replaced. But.......the icons are still coming on when car is used first thing each day. If i turn off engine and restart, no warnings ! Any ideas what else problem could be? Car booked in next Tuesday so would be handy if i could suggest to garage what to check. Cheers.

Press the check button when it happens,if low level comes on top it up also check battery from cold start as any drop in voltage will cause the red warning light to come on.There is also a repair to the 75x wiring(cranking supply)were a relay is fitted to reduce low voltage (you wont notice it)signal to the dash.Then again the switch may not be sat correctly.
