B6 Driver age????

As above just a thing that has come to me.......As you all know this is my 1st VAG and for that is the largest car I have owned out of 4 in my 7 years of driving

My 1st car was a 2001 brava and my other 2 were fiat stilo sports now on the fourth my b6loon Bessie!!!

anyhow peeps at work are doin my head in cos they're like tis an ol man's car ...I think it's a very cool looking motor and at age 24 & 6ft 2 tall I don't think tis bad at all infact it suits me down to a T with my height and driving style..

I don't have kids or a wife (soon to be though have a fiance)

so back to the question hows ol' are ya fella's

Why worry about what other people think? If you like the car then enjoy it.

Mind you I am very very old.

I also have a jag that my wife uses, and likes. same comments come up about that. She loves ******* of the Saxo brigade when they think they can out run it.

I know what you're saying just wanted to get a feel of the age group round here in the states it seem s like more and more yund uns drive big cars but hey that's the states

I love big cars and the loon is awsome sit back relax, cruise and then when the time come wipe the floor with all the corsa's and saxo's

I'm 25 and I, too, get a bit of stick. I am quite often asked where my pipe and slippers are.

Although a quick glance over at other motorway users driving Passats, it would appear the average age is at least 40!

The thing I find with all VWs is that they are classless, particularly in the air-cooled scene. I don't really know why this is, but you get every type of person from the poor to the very well-off driving VWs. You don't seem to get that with any other car manufacturer.

I love my Passat, though. I really don't require its size (no kids yet) but I just prefer bigger cars. It's very comfortable - like a mobile lounge. In fact, I've actually slept on the back seat once during a one-night stay at Croyde. The Sport model tints definitely came in use that day!

I really like the current A6, too. Maybe I am getting old...

Lol the passat is just ace and oozes class in very way I now get better treatment when I rock up in my b6 the stilo did me no favours at all ...peeps would ask what do you, I was like IT then they'd look at the car (prob didn't help having tints big rims and loud beats on)

Had a guy the other day around mid 50's at the petrol station driving a passat asking if i had soupped up my passat . I said do you me mod?. He said yes as it has big shinny wheels and tints .

Souped up I aint heard that in ages drove in behind my boss the other day he has mk v r32 .....he said was I deaf I was like why he 's like I couldn't even hear my exhaust...I said to him that's nothing I have got some jbl bass speakers coming for my rear doors wait till then

. Very good. My neighbour has a young daughter 18ish and a few of her mates were over. I was giving my car a good clean inside and put my cleaner through the headunit. I then tried David Guetta's album out they all poped looking for a pimped up ride/boy racer. But it was me with my shorts scruffy t shirt and flip flops giving the 10 speaker dynaudio a good work out
