Cabrio roof

I have a '98 Golf Cabrio and am having roof problems. It wont go down! I have had a search through the other threads but none seem to apply.

When the "roof down' button is pushed the pump clicks but doesnt do anything. When the 'roof up' button is pushed, you can hear the pump working. There is liquid above the MIN mark on the reservoir.

Could this be as simple as a fuse somewhere?

Just in case anyone encounters the same problem...

I changed the polarity on the pumps electrical feed and found that the "roof up' button could lower the roof and then raise it again when the electrical feed had been put back to how it was intended. This showed that the problem was the switch and not the pump.

With a little fiddling I managed to get the switch to work and am now trying to source a new switch.

If anyone knows where I might locate a cabrio roof switch I would love to know. Thanks
