'beeping' from alarm when i lock car

last couple of days ive locked my A4 cab 03 plate and as i walk off, few times its 'beeped' at me (sounds like alarm going off but quieter), so i have to go back to it, disarm it, re-arm it and its ok, anyone experienced this or know what it is?

do you mean enabling the beep to let you know you;ve armed/disarmed the alarm? Not that i know of, unless i done it unintentionally, but the sounds goes on and on til i disarm it, i may even be the alarm if its quite quiet?

I just went out and disarmed the interior sensor (pull small switch on drivers door) and as we speak it hasnt gone off, anyone know where this sensor is located in the car?

Quick update guys

Apparently the sound IS my alarm going off, my friend said Audi alarms are pretty quiet, it actually sounds like its coming from inside the car, from the rear seating area (or am i going mad?)

Done a quick google and found few dodgy forums listing another siren tucked away in a rear quarter or something, anyone heard of this?

Help!! my neighbours are getting p1ssed off!!
