Just bought an 04 Leon Cupra TDI and had it serviced at 'mate's rates' as a precaution. Any tips on how to reset the service indicator, please.
Also, is there a 'history' of glow-plug problems with this engine? It's already had a set at a previous service, and one was causing the Engine Management light to stay on now. I had a W Reg. Polo TDI that went over 85k miles without needing any glow-plugs, do Leon Cupra TDIs 'eat them'?

The other way is to use either vagcom or a v-checker pro (or similar device). I have the free version of vagcom but for resetting the service reminder and checking/clearing codes I tend to use my v-checker cause it's quicker to set up, less hassle and more portable.
