Strange Steering wheel off center?

i have just had 2 new front tyres as the old ones had worn aaalot on the inside so i thought the tracking was out, so i had new tyres and it tracked, but the garage said that as i have had my suspension lowered with coilovers, the camber has changed? and its wearing the inside of the tyres, so they put some shims in it??? to level it out, now when i have my sterring wheel dead center it is driving way to the right? any ideas

They tracked it up wrong,ie didn't centralise the wheel before adjusted, take it back and have a moan

Ok so does that mean that it is all tracked up ok except the steering wheels not in line. It won't wear the tyres still will it? Thanks for your help

No ,the tracking just ensures that the wheels are all pointing the same way, having an out of line steering wheel is just going to irritate you and mean that you may have very slightly more lock in one direction but probably not enough to make much difference
