    Hi guys n gals..

bought a 1998 gti 8v... IMMACULATE!!! and im not kidding for 500 notes...

the only problem i have with the car- which i was aware about when i bought it ,is....

i can hit the elec window switch on drivers side- and that takes the pass side window down, as it should.. if i hit the button for it to go back up- it wont budge, but if i use the switch on the pass side- it works...

and as for my drivers window- that doesnt work at all..

both rear windows go up and down fine... checked all internal fuses- none popped... where else do i start to look? thanks

With the one which won't work at all, take the door card off and see if the cables form the regulator are broken (that's the cables which pull the window up and down, not the electrical wires)

With the driver's side switch, check the switch and check the wires for any broken ones.
