    Guys,

Anyone recommend a source for Allroad Shocks, I'm looking to do all four.

I'd prefer standard, but I'm happy to be persuaded that other makes are better.....

I'm not looking for a harder ride, just a bit more control of the suspension than my 95000 mile ones are giving..

Presumably, we are talking 4B platform All Roads here, not 4F?

    The front would be 4Z7 413 031 A and the rear 4Z7 513 031 A (left) and 032 A (right).

As far as I can tell the only two companies that say they can/could offer these aftermarket are Delphi and KYB, the latter front only, but neither of their listings make sense and I don’t trust them as their part number cross references don’t work and KYB even state “For vehicles without off-road suspension”. Delphi list theirs for the Allraod but say the left is the same as the right, which it is not and then list them as being unavailable anyway, so why list them?

From Audi they cost around £200 each for the front and £250 each for the rear, they are also a sketch to fit.

Assuming it is for your 2002 allroad, Arnott (US supplier of Allroad airbags) offer an after market bilstein shock package,

I've never personally fitted these shocks but though I would add it to your list of possibilities,

Thanks for the info, but I'm glad I was sitting down when I saw those prices....
