Bad news: Got up to discover this morning that some bright spark was obviously driving in the dark with sunglasses on. Clearly it isn't the done thing anymore to leave a note with your details under the wiper to make good your misdemeanour...

Good news: They missed my A4!

Bad news: They smacked the front end of my wifes golf...

Still not sure if it would have been better if they hit my pride and joy with it being a company motor!

Anyway, damage doesn't look too bad at first glance so before getting the insurance company involved, was keen to get someone local to take a quick look and give me a ballpark figure. I am of course prepared for the seemingly superficial damage to cost a lot more than I think to repair!!

Anyone got any suggestions within reasonable distance of Reigate/Redhill?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

    MC

i use colbournes repair centre in guildford. They have a repair centre that specialises in VW and audi. Fab jobs and used them a lot. I live about the same distance as you do to the repair centre. Very good. They also do body repair for basingstoke, camberley audi and VW.

mc/nic - have to say that I have used these guys on my b8 and I cannot recommend them higlhy enough. Came to my house and Llukas spent whole day on rear scuff on bumper - quite severly scraped on a low brick wall. The result was 'like new'.

My colleague also used on an A3 and her husbands A6 with same excellent result. Give him a call.
