I used them for my interior headlining and pillars removal. It needed recovering so had to strip everything out for the retrimmer. Some videos on here are free and others chargeable. However, it was the best money I ever spent to remove trim because they have to come out in the right sequence or pulled in the right direction to release etc. So with regards to your pillar removal you might find that other parts of the headliner/trim need to come out first.
What DAB kit did you go for. I've been thinking about possible upgrading.
Cheers

From memory you have to do the following:
1. Remove the D pillar trim - this clips out but has 2 screws at the top.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion by pulling on it to release the clips.
3. Remove the rear seat side bolster - screw at bottom of bolster visable when the seat cushion is out of the way (lower the rear seat back to pull out the trim). Note: If you donnot have rear folding seats the you need to remove the rear seat back.
4. Remove the 3 screw on the C pillar trim and then unclip the C pillar trim.
