Rear window works in reverse + door open warning after battery swap

My sister had her battery replaced on her 2007 EOS and since then the car has developed a couple of issues.....

1. Warning light on showing drivers rear door open

2. Drivers side rear window works in reverse from the switch ie lift the button to go down and push the button to come up. The result of this is the roof won't work because the window won't drop to allow it to open.


Found a few threads on various forums with the same issue but as always the people asking for help never bother to reply with the answer after they've finally had it fixed despite lots of help from other forum members.

Any pointers appreciated.

Just to update this and help others who have had the problem and to the other f**kers that ask for help and don't update their own threads it was 100% a software issue and it just need recoding. We used Sunset VW Specialists in Derby, well done boys!!
