Re: evolutionchips remaps
how much extra power would it give me on a 115 bhp final edition tdi
Re: evolutionchips remaps
Hi mate,
We get 30bhp/80nm torque on the 115 model, really does transform it... if you have any more questions just ask mate.. :beerchug:
Re: evolutionchips remaps
hi there i have a 90bhp non pd engine golf people have mentioned changing the injectors does this make any difference? when or not getting a remap thanks tom
Re: evolutionchips remaps
Hi Tom, there is no need to change your injectors unless your going to change turbo etc, and after big power...:beerchug:
Re: evolutionchips remaps

Re: evolutionchips remaps
Hi there,
I have an R36 and am interested in a re-map and exhaust but struggling to find anyone who can help!
Anyone with any bright ideas please let me know!!
Re: evolutionchips remaps
Hi mate did you mean the R32?
Re: evolutionchips remaps
i own a 2001 passat tdi 130 bhp , was wondering with all this extra power output , what the strains would be on things like driveshaft cv joints , suspension arms ,clutch etc , of course everything has a tolerance and these parts are no exception, but at what point is a "SAFE" point to draw the line with a remap .
Re: evolutionchips remaps
Hi mate,
A remap on the 130bhp gains 45bhp/80nm torque.
These engines are still within manufacturers spec when remapped due to them being very low spec when sold to joe public.
Any mod's will put a small increase on your engine's life but to be honest if it is well maintained and an extra oil service put in between main servicing then you really shouldn't have any issues..:beerchug:
