Both Renault F1 engines and both probably seen a thousand times before, but they never get old.
nahh... ther eis no camera in the cylinder.. otherwise it would have been nuts.. ;)
/gets coat
it does look mint , but is it real ?
I cant help thinking there is way too fuel/air mixture going in and the piston doesnt seem to respond to the explosion fast enough , also its obviously slowed right down , but looks to good a quality video for something that is happening very very fast !
How the hell did they shoot that ,,,, the camera must be pressure resistant and fire resistant too
I guess im just an old cynic :o lol
Quote taken from someone adding a comment to the vid which may shed dome light..

It's obviously high speed video shot through a fiber optic borescope camera.

They prolly had to drill a hole in the cylinder wall.
good point rob , it must be some special kit !!! but still got my doubts :o
Actually i had an endoscopy once , but my stomach isnt pressurized and doesnt hit very high temperatures ,
Except after a night on the town followed by a curry, then its a different story :D
I doubt they get much MPG :D
