Re: Disable headlamp washer
Take off the end dash panels and you should have at least one fusebox, maybe one on either side.
There is a fuse diagram printed on the back of the panel you popped off.
I also believe you can disable the option in the Cent. Elec module in VCDS - module 09.
I wouldn't advise this tho as you have xenons and washers are needed as a legal requirement to stop the beam dazzling drivers when the lens is dirty.
Re: Disable headlamp washer
what headlamps do you have, hids or normal ?
Re: Disable headlamp washer
You can deactivate the headlight washing system with Vag-com, if you got it...it´s on module 9 byte 20
Re: Disable headlamp washer
Normal Xenon. Do not have Vag.com can I get an Audi Specialist to do it? Local one failed! Cannot find a fuse specific for the headlamp washers.

Did you look either end of your dashboard like in post #2? Can I ask why you're disabling them??
Re: Disable headlamp washer
Chris, I asume the OP wishes to glue the flap on so that he has no hole in his bumper, and so needs to disable the washers so that they do not cause damage when coming up against his "permanently" closed flap!

What will happen then come MOT time?

Re: Disable headlamp washer
This pic below shows the extremes we have to go to to pass a mot nowadays with HIDs - DIY headlight washer system, it's there and it works so it passes.

Re: Disable headlamp washer
Finally fixed it today. Little back street garage used good old engineering to make a plate screwed into the bumper for a hundred quid. Audi garage, Audi Specialist, major bodyshop (I was having other cosmetic work done) could not resolve or offer solutions. Some muppets sure work in the automobile industry.:aargh4:
Agree it is now necessary to have it working for the MOT.
