Re: Matrix headlight upgrade
that is excellent news - i thought that all along, simply because i couldn't find the part numbers anywhere in etka or wiring diagrams in elsa.

This is all great work and great to see the progress but I have to ask, and please don't misunderstand the context of me asking but surely these major changes can't be cheap (parts / delivery / labour etc) so could you have not got the car with it all fitted from factory as apposed to retrofitting it all?
Not being rude at all in asking just curious if your happy to share.
Cheers.

Brand new q7 starts around 115k with bare chassis here in Australia, the bno is 12k option, massage seats 15k, matrix lights roughly 4500k, so that was out of the question. I couldn't find any ex demo's with the options I wanted it would either have one or the other. I visited almost every Audi dealer here with them suggesting to wait until they had their dealer auctions and they would try to find me a car with no guarantee of what options it had which I thought was pretty stupid...
I got lucky with my q7 having the adaptive cruise control, ambient lighting, convenience pack and the quad zone climate control for the price I paid for it. so far what I've spent it still works out cheaper by a long shot but at the same time this is my first time modding a car to this extent and its turned in to a dangerous hobby but at least it keeps me busy and I really enjoy looking for that next part and learning new things.
Just for reference here is a car I found on carsales with just matrix lights, sunroof and acc, 130k
