Make sure your mechanic compares old vs new side by side and they are same before dismantling anything. It has to be for Allroad specific not A6.
If they are expensive should have gone for TRW, which are original ones.
Good Luck!

any error light on at anytime during this? sometimes the compressor overheat and stop with error. During the up or down there is sometimes after some km's the the ligth stop blinking for 30 sec or 1 min and than start blimkimg again. It seems that overheat, stop blinking to get cooler and that with lower temp restar bliking and I eard the compressor again.
Hugo: I hoppe that I was clear to explain what is happening.
Many thanks for your help!
It´s normal to rise first the front and than the rear or vice versa?
It should always lift the rear 2 wheels 1st, then lifts the front 2,
on lowering it always lowers the front 2 then the rear 2,
what does your do? have you mixed up the airlines on the valve block!! this may make sense :)
regards
Andy
I'll check tomorrow but i think that lift first the 2 front wheels
The airlines are well plug
What could be the root cause to don't accept to go to level IV? Pressure given by the compressor?
I would have thought even a bad compressor the level 4 light should try and flash for 120 seconds
does the rear of the car lift 1st then the front?
that's why i´m very confused because blink only one time.
Yes, rear first.
could be the valve block?
the old one issue was the "SLIM" product that certain mecanic put inside the rear airspring and enevn after I clean the airspring and tube, the valve the link the rigth rear airspring never worked againg.
Do you know ano product to clean it?
If yes, I could clean it and put back again to see if the root cause is really the valve block.
