Hi Guys,
E-mailed VOSA defect form on Friday last week, got a response same day and called VW Cust Services. Was given case ref same day and booked car in at local garage. Picked up car (06 plate, 92K, BKP engine)this evening having had 4 new injectors and harness FOC. 4 working days in total from start to finish.
Very satisfied Customer and totally professional service from VOSA, VW Cust Services & local garage.
Now very happy that the car is safe:-)

big thank you to everybody for great info on injector replacement especially info about vosa involvement my. 55 plate 140 cut out at 60 ish but started again once i stopped after shooting through red light on a19 with nothing but a prayer saw this thread and phoned vw customer service they were no problem give me case number and told me to phone vw dealer of my choice and get back to them ,phoned dealer they were pleasant at first then his attitude changed when i mentioned injector prob and case number he seemed irritated and couldnt wait to get off phone anyway walked into dealer six days later to a different attitude couldnt be nicer told if injectors are the ones with issues all four would be changed aswell as wiring harness my car was in for two days as they had to wait for parts but i was kept well informed now have four injectors and wireing harness over the moon no more bum nipping the cushion going past 50 mph once again thank you to those that made initial effort with vwcs and vosa also vw for their service
vw passat 06 121000 miles injectors and loom replaced foc 20/09/11
big thanks to all
Had one injector fail in July, car now with VW Crawley after engine died on M23 Tuesday evening, waiting for to see if it's the injectors or not and what VW will replace/reimburse, fingers crossed.
Just phoned Volkswagen and basically got told where to go. They are unaware of any problems and until the injectors stop working or cut out they are not interested......
Ring head office they sorted me after a rude dealer got funny

I rang VW and they are charging £90 for a diagnostic check. What are the chances that they will replace all injectors and the loom? That's £90 down the drain.

Hi Zeb
Contact Vw customer services and not your dealer. Customer services will authorise the cost of the diagnostic check as well as the injector replacement. FYI they haven;t said no to anyone yet so your chances are very high.
