A quick heads up.....
I've started a social group called Audi A4 (b6) Fan club.
Have a look under the quick link to social groups and join up.
All are invited to join. Might be a good place to share our pix....
Walter definitely gets the prize for sheer quantity of mods.
Well done that man! :beerchug:

I'm a B6 and proud, I have a 2002 Avant 1.9TDi 130 SE. I have owned it for 2 years and have kept it nice and original no mods apart from a hands-free kit.
Did sort out some poor paintwork and had the original 16" alloys refurbished just after purchasing in 2007.
It's a great car and apart from the ESP light popping on now and again it's been faultless (touch wood.)
Was MOT'd for free by Audi earlier this week and passed with no problems. 4 new tyres were fitted today and I fitted new wipers on Tuesday. Near future jobs include Brake Fluid change and new rear pads.
I'm a happy B6 owner at the moment.:D
I have only recently sold my B7 so when I arrive home at night I often find myself forgetting that I'm in a B6 because the interiors are so similar.
The B7 saloon & avant do have the style advantage (they look awesome in S-Line guise) but as someone else said, it's a top quality car for comparatively little money, whereas the tasty S-Line B7's are still quite expensive.
Here's my first taste of B6 ownership:

It was a lovely looking car (cat-D repaired) but the sheer number of faults that cropped up with it in the 2 months I owned it forced me to sell :(
The only mods I did on it were repairs!
I now own this:

I've grown to love the Avant, I think it's better looking than the saloon. I would have liked one in black or dark blue, but I was keen to snap it up as it's a Quattro and it has the Buffalino leather and it was under £6k (albeit a 130k mile example but you wouldn't be able to tell!)
The only mods planned are larger OEM wheels, DIS stalk, Cruise control (cheer for holding onto the controller A8 Tech!) and possibly RNS-E.
I was thinking about colour-coding the valances, but I'm not sure if it'll look any good - what do you guys think?
I think I'll limit my modding to increasing the OEM spec level like Walter has, rather than aftermarket aesthetic changes. I've spent a fortune doing that in the past (check out my Mk.4 2.0 Supercharged Golf) and I've realised you're pouring your money down the drain unless you plan to keep the car for a very long time.
Al.
PS: A8 Tech, please can you post a bigger photo of your car. I'm thinking about getting the RS6 wheels like you, but would like to see how they look first, ta.
I was also thinking about getting the 17" Quattro wheels - does anybody on here have a set they want to sell? (I know there are loads on eBay).
