I'm pleased to say, I had Remote Start fitted today - not forgetting that RS also allows for remote opening/closing of boot - and can thoroughly recommend Andy's services.
I've sent him a video of me starting the car, a good quarter of a mile away from the vehicle and not in line-of-site (it's 1.8GB, so tricky to share here) hopefully Andy will be able to make a time-lapse of it (I might have a crack myself and put it on YouTube)
I'm very pleased with what's been done.

Re: Audi Q7 4M Remote Start Group Buy.
For me the biggest problem is in the UK, these systems are technically illegal to use if your car spends it's life on on public road like mine. I did a lot of research on it when I bought the car originally as I loved the idea but those who have access to private off-street parking, can of cause legally use these systems and leave the car running without being present. Those of us who are stuck in London with the car mostly on the road would be liable to a fine every time we used it. It's a shame the lawmakers have fallen so far behind technology as I'd love to have the feature and this looks like a neat and great value offering by Andy. Maybe I need to move out of London into Surrey!
Re: Audi Q7 4M Remote Start Group Buy.
@muumipeikko, thanks for the reply... I must admit I too was originally worried about this and looked into it more. I do have off street parking but also park it on the street a lot. Irrepsective of where I am parked I have used it permanently for over 8 months without a hint of a problem... In the UK the offence is called "Quitting" its a non endorsable offence (no points, just fine only) - this is a really good article that puts it in perspective... Police fine fewer than 500 drivers in 4 YEARS for leaving engines running | This is Money
I looked at this way - there is way more chance of me getting caught speeding / with dodgy tyres / going through a red light etc etc etc (and i rarely speed, my tyres are good and I cant remember the last time i went through a red light) than getting a fine for running the engine.
Retrospectively, with 8 months use of the remote start under my belt - I wouldn't change it for the world - its literally my favourite extra.
