It's all about the tax..
lipo batteries, use them in rc cars. much better than nicads or nimh's that have gone before, much smaller and lighter but also much more expensive and also have this nasty habit of catching fire if you look at them wrong, and also bad for the environment both to make and dispose of.
i have this vision of the future. it uses wheeled carts made from trees that we simply grow, and animals, big ones with 4 feet pull them, cows maybe..
no no, wait, horses....
