Re: The time is now - A6 ordered
My fire kerbed the first wheel, the others were by me :(
I drove into a car park in London (Kings Mall) and I miss judged it. The kerb was about 8" high. I thought had done some major damage to the wheel and body kit. Thankfully it was just the wheel.
Apart from stone chips (big one) and a few minor scratched the car looks great for 4300 miles (in 6-7 weeks)
I has my car detailed........something which I would not do again. I have since purchased a power washer and a load of cleaning products. I did the wifes car last weekend, and although not perfect it has never looked so good. The point is get some good shampoo, wool cleaning mit and some good wax. It will make you car gleam even more....and make it far easier to clean.
I have almost given up on stopping small marks, not I try to get sorted ASAP.
Enjoy your car.

Thank you for your advice, I will watch the body work and alloys on the kerbs.

Looks lovely by the way, really looks a treat. Enjoy. Looking forward to mine.
That has been my concern also and I always try to park well back from kerbs.
Only slight misjudgements I've had so far were going into the hedge (only slightly!) at my son's place and nudging the garage door at home, both of which elicited "Don't you take any notice of the parking sensors then!" remarks from my son. :D
