Re: A6 3.0 TDI QUATTRO numbers
The fault used to come up rarely. Now its back every time i turn the ignition on. Also when i put the temp to HI i hear absolutely loud bubbling noise from the engine compartment. it reminds me of something just about to blow due to pressure issues. I turned the TEMP back to LO and it stopped! I wont be testing it again anytime soon just for the heck of it. Too scared tbh. :-(
Re: A6 3.0 TDI QUATTRO numbers
My best guess is the gurgling that you are hearing is due fault with the coolant valve/pump in plenum chamber (V50)... IIRC the coolant is not only pumped around engine but gearbox and the AC/heater matrix... will fish out info if get my other PC online or find on web...

Re: A6 3.0 TDI QUATTRO numbers
:yikes:... that's expensive... I'll try to get a like quote from here for comparative...
Re: A6 3.0 TDI QUATTRO numbers
Did you manage to get a quote? Nothing new on my side here. I've ordered all parts the only thing to arrive was the 3/8 to 1/4 socket adaptor enlarger. The rest is still 'travelling'. I swear i'd deliver it faster even if i had to go by foot to the buyer... I've taken 5 days off from work, so hopefully it arrives in that time and i get it all done. Will keep youse updated! :-)
Re: A6 3.0 TDI QUATTRO numbers

Your symptoms seem to be more and more following the TPI Link:- ZF 6HP19A tiptronic gearbox (A6 3.0 TDI Quattro)
As discussed in IM I will do video of my MVB's of gearbox for you :) ...
Here is an extract from the TPI....

Re: A6 3.0 TDI QUATTRO numbers
Thanks a bunch mate! Try giving yours a sip of wine :beerchug:(Liqui moly for diesel) and see if it makes a difference. I'm really curious.
I'll keep on scanning mine to see if any error codes come up. In the meantime...
