Re: Bluetooth Support on the B8 - upgrading to a LG GM750
I agree with A8 tech in using the database as a starting point but there are definitely some flaws in Audi's bluetooth list.
Yes an HTC phone (windows mobile) will work perfectly with hands free profile (HFP) but it only works occasionally with rSAP and they fail to mention that.
Added to the fact that Audi and Paragon couldnt organise a **** up in a brewery when it comes to supporting the saviour of "not producing any new cradles" (the fabled rSAP adapter) you are slightly working in the dark when it comes to chosing a business phone to work with your Audi.
On www.navplus.us we are starting a list of phones that work correctly with rSAP.
Basically anything Nokia with rSAP works as its a Nokia based unit and any official HTC WM6.5 phone/upgrade seems to work so far. I believe some blackberrys do too but havent tried them personally.
Unofficial WM6.5 flashed roms dont have the correct drivers yet but my recent correspondence with HTC suggests they will be available shortly for 6.1 phones with a possibility of a 6.5 upgrade.
Hope this helps as i have been looking into this for months!

The best solution i have found so far is my old HTC Tytn2 with my home made cradle which i bodged from a Nokia 6310 so that i could plug an antenna into my HTC. 5 bars of signal, full bluetooth phonebook and could still recieve emails and txts.
I dont understand why Audi cant make a "passive antenna" cradle with a universal charging lead you just plonk your phone on. rSAP is wonderful if it worked but it is a poor implemented idea.
