Guys Im going nuts over this!!! Fitted a second new switch but no change brake lights still not working but high level brake light does - and always has. Are both lights on the same switch?
Was this switch also from GSF? I think they may be selling the old design which are fitted with the pedal up, not pressed. The brake light switch has two circuits. The circuit for the lights is fed from fuse 13 via a red/yellow wire and this is switched onto the red/black wire which feeds all three brake lights. If you jump across these two wires at the switch’s plug, all the lights should come on, if they don't, the problem is with the switch.
High level and wing brake lights are all same circuit so brake switch should be ok, unless it is limiting current supply. You may have a faulty wire connector especially if you have ever had wet carpets. I would start at the rear brake lights and test for 12v when someone presses the brake pedal. Then work forwards following the wires behind the trim. Check for 12v each time you find a connector.
When you press the brake pedal do any of the other rear lights flicker or gow, even a little.
