coolant leaking!

Hi,

Does anyone know if you have to drain any of the coolant in order to replace the screw? If so, what would I need to do?

No, you shouldn't have to, it's there to let air trapped in the coolant system out whilst changing the coolant. So if you do loose any fluid it should be minimal and just put it back in at the header tank. ;)
