Lumpy missing 110bhp gt tdi, plus warm/cold start problem...

Well take it out and clean the windings and brushes if you can,also spray WD40 on the connectors and see if that helps.I went to take mine out today at ork and took two nuts off onlt to find i needed an 18mm spanner and didn't have it or a deep socket!So i cleaned the battery terminals and will try to take it out again soon.It's been starting ok since i sprayed the WD40 and played with the wires.
Does your's smoke when you start up when cold?:o
