The two I researched were on the Bi Turbo. Details were a bit sketchy and were sorted under warranty. Those who were affected where happy with the way Audi dealt with the problem and have had no further issues.

Will post pictures as soon as I get word at the dealer. As for gearbox problems I have not heard anything bad - nor do I care as its a company car . If it goes wrong in the 36 months I have the car the dealer can sort it and the leasing company pays ;)Quote:

Absolutely nothing wrong with this gearbox, lovely bit of kit. People really need to get their facts right. You will love your car, I know I do.
Just found out mine is at the dealers - Booked in for collection next thursday :) :D

BiTDi has the ZF gearbox, the 218PS and 272PS engines have the S-tronic box.Quote:

And they did not put the S-tronic box in the BiTdi for a reason - it could not handle the torque.
Been given a provisional build week of week 13. Does anyone know when these dates are confirmed to the customer. Dealer not particularly forthcoming with anything more:confused:
