Automatic wipers

Never had much of a problem with mine - occasionally they need a bit of manual intervention, but it is rare

Like start buttons.

Same as the fat controller for me, first had them 8 cars ago on a Laguna and they have got better with each car, I wouldn't want a car without them now.

What is a fat controller? Is it the 20 inch wheels and sport suspension that shakes the excess fat to oblivion?

My fault, sorry. The Audi implementation seems better than most as other forums that I watch have more complaints than this one. Of course, the UK has way more need than I so your input is way more valid than mine.

I never found it difficult to;

1. Change gear, but I still want an auto.
2. Turn my lights on, but I still set them to auto.
3. To put a key in the ignition or door and turn it, but I still want keyless entry and start so I can leave my keys in my pocket.
4. To read a map, but I still want sat nav.

The list could go on and on. I don't want them because I can't work out when it's raining. It's another convenience feature in a luxury car. I liked my 1986 VW Golf 20 years ago with none of these features, but I don't yearn for them to disappear.

There is a world of difference - and you know it - to pumping clutches or faffing with maps to flicking a wiper switch. Also that technology generally works. Automatic wipers don't.

It seems one or two don't like them, but a few do. I have the patience to wait a few seconds when they aren't perfect and very very rarely have to intervene. I would not be without them and I did miss them when I didn't have them. I suggest you just turn them off.
