Front wipers failed and won't work [1.9tdi][06]

The drivers side spindle but to solve this you have to replace the frame which comes with a redesigned motor which is £235.

Can I not get one on eBay?
The old model, not the new one?

I am not prepared to pay £235... for wipers...

Not sur if the A3 is the same as A4 but as Crasher says the spindle seizes. I took mine apart and freed the spindle greased it up and it failed 3 months later. Ir really is better to buy new rather than do the bloody job twice

I totally understand, but not for £235.

If that's the case Audi will pay for it :p

Don't waste your time, the car is 2006 going by the title which makes it 8 years old, the only thing they'll pay out for this late on is on the Anti-Corrosion Guarantee.

I would love to be able to listen to that conversation in the service department.....
