An update on the MX5. Two sensors have failed (I thought this was only a VAG thing), which leads me to believe that it is just a reliability problem we now have on cars due to stupid emissions crap - Thankyou all you swampy dicks. 1976 Ford Cortina MKIII never missed a beat in over 70k, they may have rusted like a rusty thing but they did keep going :p
Anyway about £95 to replace them and then a good Italian tune and hopefully it will pass emissions.

but only in second as it doesn't have enough grunt to do it in third.
and... it does not wheel spin - in any gear - unless you floor the loud pedal and dump the clutch. Surprising for a car with 175bhp !!!
I've asked the bodyshop for something a little different as they were replacing the rear bumper.
