Be serious Paul... What more do you expect from people who's idea of a good meal is frogs legs with garlic and who shape their bread in such a way it would fit in their trousers...? :D

Morning chaps, LOL at the above, that'll teach you for trying to skip traffic Mr Malc ;)
I've got an interview this morning, for what? I hear you all ask....
a passport, that's right, I've got to attend an interview to prove I am who I say I am. So, despite the form being filled out, signed by me, countersigned by a magistrate, sent along with a birth certificate, a birth cert of my mothers and my parents' marriage cert, AS well as being paid for by a debit card in my name, they require a face to face interview, just to make sure.
re-assuring in one way, bloody annoying in the other

lol, nope, daughters 13th birthday, had the day off :)
seems like i have missed a huuuuge amount of bolox lol, congrats everyone on the 1k posts in a single thread :beerchug:
Malc, a few pages back you posted a screenshot of the thread posters. (me being #2 contributor :Blush2: waaaay behind DH i might add :p ) my question is how the hell did you bring that up? i cant find how to do it
i collected and tried to fit my siren unit yesterday. it didnt go well. i shattered a screwdriver handle when i discovered the mounting barket has been glued in place, then dropped the torx bit into a cavity (never to be seen again).
so, i removed the siren unit without removing the bracket, which is one bolt, and audi have usefully increased the bolt size used to hold the unit in. my drill is broken, so i cant drill the bracket out. elected to put the old siren back in. i managed to drop the nut, which then went and joined the torx bit from earlier :zx11:
fished around for a bit with a magnetic retrieval tool, and managed to break my bracelet :zx11:
so, net result, still no alarm siren, broken bracelet, screwdriver, missing torx bit. result. :aargh4:
other than that, i had a cracking weekend. a wet bbq on saturday, spent the whole day cooking under a tarpaulin nailed between the kitchen and next door's fence lol. recovered and cleaned up sunday, then daughter's birthday yesterday, then went to see Batman last night.
back to work (and bolox) today :biglaugh:
essay over :)
