MP3 player input for an A3?

I have a 2005 Audi A3 2.0L T Quattro and I'm looking for a way to plug my mp3 player / phone (both of which have 3.5mm jacks) into the car.

I've read there's a few Connects 2 modules which look like they could work, but they seem to either be up to 2005 or 2005 onwards. The problem is that mine's a 2005 model and I'm not sure which to go for. It was registered on 01/04/2005 if that's any help?

Is there any other information I could use to find out? ...and is there a better alternative for an aux input?
