Hi
I have a hex can ross tech cable and a 02 2.5tdi T4
I have changed engine and gerbox in the t4 after exploding dmf and main oil seal, pricey but what are you gonna do :(
Can i rewrite the mileage of the new engine to the instrument cluster using vcds whilst in the van or do i have to take the cluster out and send it to a specialist?

I think you'll find its illegal to change the mileage on the dashpod.
The engine may be new butthe van has still covered the mileage...
No you can't do that with VCDS, plus the mileage covered by the vehicle as a whole is what's important - just because it's had a new engine doesn't mean you can change the mileage.
