A4 Oil change

I have a 51 plate 1.9TDI sport A4. I need to know do i have to use the ridiculously expensive SLX 3 castrol oil in it or can i use another brand of synthetic as it need an oil change.
Also anyone know a good local Audi indepedent in the Brentwood/Southend?Basildon area

You must use oil to VW spec 505.01, 506.01 or 507 in your PD
