when idol and ticking over my vw passat 2 litre 55 plate 140bhp deasel is shaking bad ,allinjectors are fine and im stumped as 2 what is causing this problem when i lifted the bonet the engine was rocking like a pensioner?????????????????????any help would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've had a mild version of this for over a year on my 55 plate 140 TDi as well. No rhyme or reason as to when it decides to do it, just feels like compression is low on one cylinder. Doesn't seem to affect the overall performance, but it's a little irritating, if not disconcerting when it does it sat in traffic.
I had exactly this on my 06 2.0 TDI, after numerous trips to VW and £1,200 later it was the dual mass flywheel which needed relacing (I also got the clutch release plate replaced too).
That would tie up with mine; I reckon my DMF's been on the way out for the past 40k miles. (Now approaching 100k)Quote:
