i recommend standard shocks and springs from vag to give the original ride height and performance. thats what i think works best, but i presume you are looking for a change from standard, as thats what is probably on your car already. it depends what you want. do you want to lower it a little bit, or go as low as you can ? do you want to go for a firmer set up to decrease body roll, or want a trackday setup ? theres a lot more to it than just asking for a recommendation for new suspension. you need to tell us what you want from your car. for instance, someone may recommend coilovers so you fit them, but that can make the ride very harsh, which may not suit you. like i said, i recommend a standard set up, because that gives good allround performance, but may be too soft for your liking. or perhaps you wish to tow a caravan or a heavy load in the back all the time. so if you can ellaborate a little as to what you are looking for from new suspension, then im sure someone can recommend something that will suit your needs.
bump.
I had SE suspension, although it was very comfortable to drive it did'nt seem planted enough for me, went for the Eibach pro kit & Eibach pro damper kit, I've been told you can get away with just the springs, the kit will lower your car by about 35mm maybe slightly more once it has settled. The ride is almost as comfortable as before but with the added stability and poise definately recommend.
