hello to everyone on forum , am new to german cars and forums for that matter!! i need to change oil filter on my 2006 2.0tdi before a long journey coming up , have bought new filter but can't figure out where on the block it should go:confused:
urgent help required , thanks in anticipation.

Looking at engine,over on the right side,towards rear of engine (plastic cover removed !) you`ll see a black plastic cap on top of a cylindrical alloy housing.Thats it ! Remove cap.
alan , much obliged for info. i had a feeling it may have been where you said but didn't want to open it up and get hit in the face by a spring or some such!! without checking with a man who knew, regards and thanks again.
