Hi i got a 2.5 tdi a4 on a v plate. I am having problems with the fuel pump i think. My car conked out and the fuel pump wasnt working so i took it out played with it and put it all back together and now i can hear the pump workin but no diesel is gettin pumped out. Has anyone got any pictures of where all the pipes from the pump and sender unit go so i can see where they all go. Also has anyone else had any problems with this? Cheers Adam
I have a 2.5 tdi A4 on a T plate. Am experiencing some problems mainly revs limited to 2800 - 3000rpm and more than average blue smoke when idling at lights - it has been suggested that it may be a fuel pump / sender unit fault. are you suffering similar symptoms?>
Andy did you get this sorted? Have same probs with same model.
No it still driveable but getting very gradually worse.
More research that i do the more i think it may be a turbo problem. I had it plugged into a non VAG computer at my local garage and they couldnt find a fault air fuel mixture was fine? May have to bite the bullet and take it into audi for full diagnoistic,
