Parking control module part no.s

Hey all


I am looking at installing rear parking sensors and just wanted a little advice from someone out there who knows a bit about these things.

I am looking at doing the factory mod that Randall has already done - see link,

I have everything to do the job but the control module. I understand that for rear parking sensors on the A4 you need part no 8E0 919 283 D. For front and rear you need 8E0 919 283 E. I think I am correct so far but please correct me if not.

I see a lot of the same part no.s on ebay ending in different letters A and B. Firstly does anyone know if these will do the same job as the one ending D? and also will the one ending in E work for just the rear sensors if i don't have front sensors connected or will it just not work all together.

Sorry for the very specific questions, but hoping an expert may know.
