2 simple questions

1: Can anyone tell me what the thing is that is on the inlet manifold, on the right hand side at the front. Some sort of vacum valve I think. My braided hose to it seems a bit perished, so wondered what is does and how important it is.

2: My leak off/fuel return braided hoses are not very dry now. Should I replace them and is it easy to pull them off and replace?

Same hose for both I imagine.

Go on, give us aclue. What engine do you have, we need the engine code from the ID label in the spare wheel bay or in the service book. Regards Peter

And the engine code IS ?? And the year would be a help. Yes it is most probaly the ERG valve. Regards Peter
