Allroad Level Sensor Electrical Problem
Hi Guys
Im getting the level control mil on the dash and the following code with VAG-COM.
Control Module Part Number: 4Z7 907 553 Göv
Component and/or Version: - 2C1A1 D052
Software Coding: 25500
Work Shop Code: WSC 00495
1 Fault Found:
00775 - Level Control System Sensor: Right Rear (G77)
57-00 - Electric Circuit Failure
I had a spare level sensor from when the front left one failed a few months ago. Ive fitted it to the rear right but still get the fault. Im guessing its a wiring or connector problem. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the level control?
Cheers
Lee
Re: Allroad Level Sensor Electrical Problem
Diagram sent to your Inbox let me know if it is any use
looks like connector for rear right is under rear seat you could check continuity from there
T4ap - 4-pin connector, black, under rear seat, right

Re: Allroad Level Sensor Electrical Problem
Thanks Andy
The diagram is just what im after. It shows the sensor wires go to connector T4ap like you say then straight to connector no2 on the level control ECU in the left side of the boot. If it is a wiring fault, shouldnt be too hard to trace and replace if needed.
However i may have diagnosed the problem with just the info of connector and right rear seat. When the mil came on i was on my way home from a play area with the kids. My youngest who happens to sit in the rear right seat had a full bottle of juice. She fell asleep withing minutes of setting off and when we got home i noticed she had dropped the bottle top down into the hole where the seatbelt buckle comes through the rear seat. So im thinking the whole contents of the bottle are now under my rear seat, maybe shorting out connector T4ap?
After spending an hour in the freezing cold replacing the level sensor im gona leave it till the morning to check.
On another note ive noticed that all 4 level sensors on the allroad have the same part number. So if you need to replace a sensor on a given wheel and you buy the relacement from ebay like i did. Then you dont need to buy the specific sensor, just 1 from any wheel. The linkages are different but just unbolt with a bike spanner and a socket.
BTW how does the rear seat come out?

Re: Allroad Level Sensor Electrical Problem
looks like it is a lift up at the front of the lower bench and pull towards front seats, no fixings as such but the pull up should release clips, also warns of removing side airbag connecter, I assume in the foam base, once removed
Re: Allroad Level Sensor Electrical Problem
Hi Lee, i have a similar problem, do you have a part number for the sensor and maybe a link to the guy who sold you it on feabay? Good luck with the fix.
thanks very much.

Re: Allroad Level Sensor Electrical Problem
The mighty Allroad..........This past week its got us where we needed to go and back home again. Through deep snow, ice and flooded roads! But it cant tackle a 1 year old wielding a full bottle of fruit shoot!!!
Couldnt wait till the morning so just been out to investigate under the rear seat. Both sides bloody flooded with juice! The said connector under about an inch of juice that had puddled around it.
Cant believe i wasted my time in the freezing cold fitting the replacement sensor.........bloody kids. No juice in the car rule now me thinks.
Anyway i soaked up the juice and cleaned all the connectors i could find. All faults cleared now. I just need to recalibrate the suspension in the morning now after the replacement sensor.
Thanks for the info Andy. An episode for the archives i think!
Cheers

Hi Stig
What problem do you have? Have you read the fault codes with VAG-COM?
The part numbers on my level sensors and the 2 i bought from ebay are 8E0 907 503 & 8PM 008 161 50. Mines a 2.7t 2001 and the 1s from ebay were from a 2.5td 2003. so im guessing there universal across the models.
I know of someone selling 4x sensors from ebay. there not listed at the mo but were last month. I have his number and text him today to ask if he had the rear right 1 still, before i realised they were all the same sensor with different link bars. If you want his number let me know and ill PM you. I got my pair for £30 + p&p. This chap wants £80 a pair or £100 for all 4. Dont know if he will sell them individually.

Re: Allroad Level Sensor Electrical Problem
Even VCDS can't diagnose 'bloody kids'. !!
Its a common saying in our house that .....bloody kids!
Good info Lee on the sensors though and one to remember.
Re: Allroad Level Sensor Electrical Problem
Hi Lee, thanks for the heads up, only thing is that im a newbie so haven't a clue, done some research about fault codes, is there anyone in the Leeds area with a reader who could help me?
My problem is that i bought my car a few days ago i read the buyer guide on here and knew what to look out for. The allroad i bought was a-ok but yesterday when i started her up i got a headlight alignment warning on and the air suspension light on! i thought ***?! SODS LAW!
The car drove 30-40 miles ok parked up went back couple of hours later and the warning was gone for the headlight but the suspension warning is still on with car stuck on 2 lights.
I think it must be the notorious ns front sensor problem! i shall have to get out tomorrow on all fours and locate the problem, hope its not too bad and a loose wire or so would be the likely culprit.
If its a sensor problem at least i know that you know a bloke who has some.
I shall investigate and update this thread also.
