have you nocked a wire when you wired the seats behing the cc
hi, thats a thought... i will check that. Do you know which column block the heated windscreen wire belongs to behind the climate control unit?
cheers
no idea on what wire is for what just a thought seen as tho u have added wires like i did when i did it on my old b6 u could have knocked 1 out
checked all the connections behind the climate control. No Luck. I will try the old climate control unit to rule out the wiring maybe.
just tried the old climate control unit and the rear heated windscreen works. So that rules out the wiring. Could it be the climate control unit?
I was about to ask if you had changed the climate unit due to wearing buttons/heated switches needed and you've answered it!
It is the wiring I'm afraid (or lack of it) Nov 2004 and on units don't have the relay for the rear window in them, the design was changed for some reason. You need to wire a relay in behind it. I have the guide (from another forum member), if you PM me your e-mail address I can send the guide to you. (Can't upload here as the file's too big!
benjie beat me to it its what he said needs relay iv seen a few posts on here on how to do it
I can't take credit however as another forum member told me, though his name escapes me!
Wired in the relay yesterday and it is working a treat!
Thank you once again!
Happy New Year Everyone!
